Oak Harbor is the largest city on Whidbey Island in Washington -- and yet a small city compared to other 'normal sized towns'. Named for the Garry Oak trees which grace its skyline, the city is a beautiful waterfront community nestled on the shores of Puget Sound. Originally a small town with Irish and Dutch heritage, Oak Harbor has grown quickly from a population of six hundred to over twenty-thousand. Yet despite its growing population, Oak Harbor has still preserved the culture, values, and charm of small-town living.
Yet we do not focus on town as one, but look into the many different families and personal lives of Oak Harbor. Will you strive? Or will you fall? You pick the paths, you make the decisions, but the rest is up to fate.
It's so-so weather outdoors. The wind makes it feel about 63º F outdoors, and the dreary low-hanging clouds don't help the mood very much. Most of Oak Harbor's residents yearn for true summer, but this is a typical June for Oak Harbor. The hot summer shows it's face in July.

Work Space These are the regular office buildings. If you work in an office, your office will be found here. These offices are pleasant and nicely furnished, with a few plants in the corner and local artwork on the walls. Some are not so lucky, though, and they have a tightly packed cubicle with a shabby desk and no room for anything other than work stuff.

West Side This is the west side of Oak Harbor, it faces far out from the island, looking out directly at the sea rather than towards Washington. It's a smaller neighborhood, and the people out here have more land.

East Side This is east of town, with a little bit of regular neighborhood, and then a few streets with look-alike duplexes on them. Skagit Valley College Welcome to Skagit Valley College! Adults come here to get an education and they're actually serious about it.
Middle School Welcome to Oak Harbor Middle School, home of the Panthers! Grades 6-8 come here to get an education and be tortured through their social lives.

Fitness Club The Fitness Club (aka, the Gym) isn't too big but has just enough to keep you occupied! Memberships are easy to acquire, and at a fairly good price. There are yoga, pilates, bellydancing, and other great work-out classes here. Plus a running track, a swimming pool, a rock-wall, and gym equipment to work out on.
